It’s come to my attention that I tend to write things on the blog pages and then something happens, so I end up writing a little add-on paragraph about something. Since I’d like to keep things consistent, and not add things unless if I plan to redo the entire page, I’ve decided to make this page for news and updates!

Here you’ll find little snippets of my life and actual blog-like things. I would usually just post them, but I lose track of them over time, and it’s all very confusing. Please note that this won’t be updated every day like some bloggers. I don’t have the time for that, nor is my life all that interesting. You will get occasional updates on all types of interesting things though, so fret not!

I tried to type this in… but it didn’t save… You can imagine how happy I am to be rewriting this. But, anyways, the world’s apparently ending soon, so I decided that I should at least try to fit in one more manga. So, yes, I, Amanda, have put up a new review… I know, I know - I can’t believe it either :P I’ve been reading manga here and there as well, so as I try to finish Wallflower/Perfect Girl Evolution

and the corresponding segment review I’m going to do on it, you’ll also see me add in a couple others I haven’t told you guys I’ve read! The first review is up now if you want to read it. BY THE WAY, I UPDATE THE REVIEWS PAGE FROM THE BOTTOM, NOT THE TOP. I will probably reformat the reviews page over Christmas break, because it takes FOREVER to load, so don’t be surprised if you start to see just a FLOOD of reviews posted on this blog. I’d be curious of how many of my followers actually bother to read this page :P But, six months later, and I’m finally back! Where have I been? Well, all over the place really :P 

Since it was my birthday 3 days ago however, I thought I’d do a little recap of me now vs. me then. So here we go:

Alright… well, uh… yeah :P I know, the difference is hard to take in. Anyways, things that have changed:

• My teeth are now braces-free (!) and not completely disgustingly yellow, and are looking much better.
• My skin is much happier now, although it’s a real pain in the arse to wash it 3 times a day.
• Makeup may/may not be allowed with the father, but I’ll have to run it by him. Although come on, you bought it for me on my birthday :P
• Weight. I know you can’t see my weight loss in the picture, but I’ve lost 7 lbs. 
• Brows are now plucked religiously (and yes, it hurts like hell T-T).

Okay, so as you all know, Amanda here has fallen off of the face of the Earth and has stopped writing reviews… and I apologize :P I completely forgot about that page since I have started writing a fanfic for my friend based off of HER fanfic (http://www.anotheroneofthosefanfics.tumblr.com) and since my school has started end of the year testing, so forgive me if you will. Ever since “Hairspray” ended, I’ve been focusing on my actual theatre class more. Usually, if I put some commitment into it, it’s a ton of fun. The most recent project was to create a theatre-related board game, which, if you have paid any attention to the really colorful logo above, then you’d guess that we’re doing the “road to stardom” version of the Game of Life. I decided to call it “The Game of Celebrity Life” and created the logo based off of the actual game logo. So, Hasbro Games, if you have a problem with it, just message me up. It’s not like we’re selling it for money or anything :P The only thing we’re using it for is to get a grade. Any who, having Sammy writing the questions was definitely a note of questionable responsibility on my part :P I love Sammy, but she just has a tendency to make cards like - “You lose a turn because no one loves you.” or “Lol wut. This isn’t even a question. Lol. You gain 43 fame points because I feel like it.” or “You get hit by a train and die.” - Yeah… :P but hey, it attracted quite the crowd in our class, so that’s a good sign, not to mention that it took our group FOREVER to make it because 2 of our group members missed class every day for a WEEK… *cough, cough* Reid! Rochelle! =___= … But all’s well that ends well! Some other stuff has happened too… but by the off chance that either of them should find this blog and read this, I’ll leave it out ;) It’s been an interesting week. I got my braces off and I’m getting my hair cut during the weekend. And… uh… that’s it! Bye! <3 :)

Alright, you know that little kid I was telling you about, my mom’s friend’s daughter? Well, I was scrolling down my dash and then there was this joke about birth and sex, and she didn’t get it, so like a normal, somewhat responsible, if not, at least sane teenager I said, “Don’t worry about it.” like my brother does even though I’m 15 and he knows I’ll get the joke if he just repeats it. I think it’s classier than saying, “Like I’m telling you! Psshhh!” or “Kid, PLEASE, if you get this joke, I’m sure I’ll be glad to inform your mom on the filthy mind you’ve acquired from God knows where.”, but being like, 10, she continues to do that annoying thing… you know what I’m talking about:

And I’m more tactful than that. I mean, when somebody throws the “puppy dog eyes” my way, I end up laughing my butt off, so it ends up coming out more like this:

I’ve seen it all kid, don’t think I’ll tell you :P Believe me, I’m preserving your purity, although since your apparent favorite song is by Ke$ha, I question how intact that purity actually is… Anyways, I thought I deserved you guys a somewhat entertaining explanation as to why I had to stop typing on my computer. Which reminds me, if you’ve ever had the pleasure (heavy sarcasm) of watching children’s shows because kids are selfish and get away with it, AND if that show happened to be Thomas and Friends, then have you ever noticed how puny the island of Sodor is in the picture?

I mean, you would need 5 trains TOPS for an island that size and you’d get everything done on time. My dad and I have come to a conclusion that there’s stupid, and then there’s Thomas :P Except I’d rank the drivers below the trains considering the fact that they’re the ones that are supposed to control the things… Anyways, have you ever wondered at the lack of logic in kid’s shows? Or why no one seems to have responsible parents in them? I know I have :P If not, you probably don’t have siblings with 12 & 13 year age gaps like I do who watch all the show’s re-runs 20 times over. Hi there! Wow, it’s been over 2 months since the last time that I wrote in here… I apologize :P Anyways, I’ve been busy working on my second play of the year - Hairspray. As you also might have noticed, I have added a new icon:

It looks a bit like me, but I couldn’t find any eyes that really matched mine, so it ended up looking like this. I also made another one that made me laugh:

Hahaha ;) I look like I’m being tortured, although I’m sure if I was forced into a dress with bows to match I’d look like that :P

Anyways, since I’ve had a ridiculous amount of time on my hands, I figured I’d take some time to update my blogs over the holidays. Although I love manga, I’ve been missing my no-picture paragraph books, so lately I’ve been reading books like The Hunger Games, Matched, and The Wedding Raffle, yup, even when I’m reading lengthy books I prefer romance :P Spoiler Alert: I’ve been thinking about adding a book review page.

I’ve also been playing a lot of dress up games if you can’t tell.

Anyways, my mom’s friend’s daughter is at the house with me currently watching Ghost Hunters, so I’m gonna go, but before I do, I’d like to wish you all a Merry Christmas:

Hello again :) Did you miss me? It’s been over a month! Anyways, with my play done and over with and procrastination…

… setting in, I figured I’d spend some time talking to my lovely followers. Alright, well, yesterday was my birthday, and it was rather uneventful actually :P

Not to say that it was boring or anything, just that it was just another day at school. Moving on… do you guys like my new Halloween theme? :) I’ve decided since this blog has such a dull theme, to liven it up by changing it for the holidays to be celebrated in that month, so wish me luck! It’s kinda late though since in less than a week, Halloween will be over :P 

On the other news, I’m going to be interviewed next week for Student Council so wish me luck! Which reminds me, I did not know my friend was the Vice President! You can’t imagine how awkward it was for me to be sitting in there,

and then sort of ignoring him because I don’t want to be that girl who supposedly “only got in Student Council because she’s all buddy-buddy with the VP”. I always hug him though, so I feel kind of bad… he’s just a huggy-type guy :P

Tell you one thing though, I have a lot of memorable and awkward memories from that guy. He’s a sweetie, really, but for one reason or another, we always end up misunderstanding each other :P Well, that’s enough blabber for one day, and I have to re-do some homework for tomorrow, so, bye! :D

I figured I’d tell you guys a little bit MORE about myself than my “About Me” page lets you know. Partially because I love you if you actually read this page, and also because I have a little extra time before I call it a night, and I wanted to write about something. I guess I’ll limit myself to 5 facts so I don’t go over-board like usual… :P

1. Alright, well first, is that I love both strawberries and strawberry-flavored things. They are AWESOME <3

2. I can’t STAND coffee as a drink. The only way you’ll ever get me to drink it is if you water it down to the point where I can no longer tell it’s coffee anymore. But surprisingly enough, I like coffee in things like ice cream or cake.  

3. My two favorite songs - (It’s a) Liar’s World and Melancholic, were discovered on THIS blog. It is my music-preference twin.

4. I am currently cast in a children’s show for my school. Another one of my various interests is acting. But when my teacher/director praises me for memorizing everyone’s part, I don’t really think I deserve it considering the fact that I didn’t spend over 30 minutes studying the script :P I just have a knack for remembering things that interest me.

AND 5. I have a nasty habit of taking just about every quiz possible on Blogthings and saving the results. I used to print them out, but now I just keep them in a folder on my computer. I currently have 45 saved.

Well, now that you know 5 pointless facts about me, know that you’ll be hearing from me sometime soon… I think :P The intervals between these tend to vary, but I hope you’ll continue to visit my blog! :3 Oh, and I guess I’ll add a sixth one for the heck of it: I’m a hopeless romantic. Okay, I’m frustrated. It looks like Luciano from for mentioned Princess Debut is just IMPOSSIBLE to get to love you… -____- Ugh! I’ve been reading a lot of “walk-through”s for the game (yes, I have gotten THAT upset…) and I have come to a conclusion: Don’t think too hard about it. What do I mean by that? Well, it’s just that when I was with Vince it was the PERFECT moment to get him to love me, but ignorant me, just ignored it :P So far I have won over the Tony and Princess endings as well as both of the versions of Vince, Liam, and Cesar. If you have ever played the game, then you’d know that these are the easiest routes to complete. I have had opportunities with Keifer, Luciano, AND Klaus, but sadly didn’t realize it, and, well… I rejected them :P Silly me. Before I get to my next snippet of news, I’ll show you my wedding photos so far :3

Well, there ya have it folks! I’ve been married 4 times ;) I have to say that even though he was a pain Vince is still my favorite route so far :P

I ALSO forgot to mention that I did make a very tedious (as my friend puts it) desert called Rainbow Jelly, except I went all Sandra Lee and did it the Semi-Homemade way!

I also put up the recipe in my tutorials page, so when you get the chance, try it out and send me a picture ~<3 I’m currently on the 6th volume of Mixed Vegtables, so expect a finish review within the next week. Well, that’s all my news for now, so… bye! :D

Finished my first otome game today. It’s called Princess Debut. It’s very cute and light, so it was a good choice for my first game. I learned 2 things from this experience though: 1. The only options you have are “Be a bitch.” or “Be overly kind.”, and 2. You really CAN fall in love with anyone. I say this because I accepted Vince’s (a stereotypical childish guy) offer to be his dance partner, not knowing that would pair me with him the entire game! In the beginning I was kind of negative and kept thinking, “I’d rather be with Klaus or Luciano!”, but in the end I realized that Vince was a nice guy and not to judge and all that good stuff. I haven’t really “fallen in love” with an anime/manga/otome game character yet, so I love Vince, I’m just not IN love with him…? If that makes any sense.

BTW! While I was typing this up, there was an empty spot in my photo album under “Vince” and I was wondering what was up, and GUESS WHAT?! I looked up “Princess Debut Vince” on Google and found out that there are two different endings! So I played again and ended up filling my album with Vince and I getting married, which is a LOT better than the original game ending where I just leave and replace Vince with Victor in “My World”. It seems that you complete the game if you win over every guy in the game, SOO… I’ve got a LOT of work to do :P Wish me luck!

Read my first anime magazine today, and it was… disappointing in ways actually… Basically it’s filled with reviews on new anime that came out, but it was really lacking the extra stuff. Maybe it was because there wasn’t anything I was OVERLY interested in watching (or reading), but now that I think back on it, it isn’t that bad. Don’t get me wrong. I’d still buy the magazine, but it was just lack umph if you know what I mean. I actually read it on my flight from Hong Kong to San Francisco, in first class none-the-less so I’m sure the flight attendants all think I’m the biggest nerd that ever lived now. Oh, how the world looks down on the otaku… Maybe it was also because it was from Japan and I was in China and those two hate each other (or so my dad says), but I have Chinese blood (I’m not 100% sure on the Japanese part, but it’s highly possible!) and I like Japan, so I guess I’m the exception. Or my dad’s just wrong, period.

I found out today that the name of the first ever anime I watched was “Spirited Away”. Turns out that I watched it when I was much younger than I first thought (about 3 or 4) because it was released in 2002. But, since it’s actually an animated film from Japan, that would explain why I don’t remember any commercials or multiple episodes while I was watching it… It’s still as messed up as I remember it though <3
